Public Forum Speakers are limited to a three-minute oral presentation and may submit written comments of any length for Governing Board files. Those wishing to address the Governing Board should complete a Citizen Information Card prior to the meeting being called to order. The Governing Board is required under law to accept any materials presented. At the conclusion of the public forum, individual Board Members may respond to criticism made by those individuals who have addressed the Governing Board and may ask staff to review a matter and place it on a future agenda. Discussion and Possible Action Authorizing Resolution No. 2017-040, Approving the Purchase of 1.52 Acres of Land for the Construction of a Fire Station. This Parcel of Land is Identified as Pima County Parcel # 218-40-072C, and is Located in the Dove Mountain Portion of the District.
Discussion and Possible Action Approving Resolution number 2017-041, authorizing the purchase of 2.76 acres of land for the construction of a fire station. The Land is a Portion of Block 43 of Gladden Farms Subdivision, in the Town of Marana.
Discussion and Possible Action Approving an Agreement with WSM Architects for the Design and Construction of Station 37.
Discussion and Possible Action Approving the Purchase of Two KME Predator Type 1 Engines for the total price of $1,057,168.88.
